SF Unlocks Global?

Sorry this is a repost from the BF2 discussion but it's a SF question so here goes:

I searched before posting so PLEASE do not flame me. I am working towards gunnery sgt. and I just bought SF tonight. I played a while and I REALLY like the F2000 but I do not have the G3 unlocked. IF I was to use my 2 SF unlocks to unlock the G3 and the F2000 , then when I hit gun sgt can I unlock 2 SF guns? What I want is to have 5 vanilla guns unlocked and 3 SF guns unlocked when I hit gunnery sgt, but use one of my Sf unlocks on vanilla and then my vanilla unlock on a SF gun when I get the next rank. I hope that's not too confusing. Thanks for the help.

Having SF gives you 2 unlocks per rank up. You can use them on either SF or BF weapons.

Correct, until 1.2 when unlocks will be added for Lance Corporal and Corporal.

Hasn't this topic been covered in many other threads. Please research before posting new ones. Anyways yes the unlocks for tier 2 only unlock and are usable if you have tier 1 unlocked prior to unlocking 2. :)

Say if your sargent and have SF... since locks will be added for corporal and lance corporal, will you get 2 free unlocks?

Thats what Demize99 claims in another thread, like this one, haha. And i would take what he says to heart, he is with Digital Illusions CE, or DICE....
