Who here loves blowin up choppers with arty?

I sure do...just about the funnest thing to do with arty. Whenever i see a newly spawned enemy chopper (fighter or transport) i always use my arty on it...and in about 3 occasions i've gotten it to blow the chopper up (simply hilarious) and had 2 occasions where i caused the guy to think he's a good pilot and dodge the fire (it was at dalian plant against MEC, so they went nose first into the mountain)

anyways....who else thinks its so rewarding to blow up a chopper in the air with arty? has anyone hit a moving plane?

I was commanding the other night... one of our flags when neutral... I zoomed in on it an fired off our artty before getting a good look. Oddly, I couldn't see anyone on the ground and spot wasn't doing anything. Still, the artty was already on it's way...

BOOM! I hear *something* get nailed by the first shell, but couldn't see what it was. As the rest of the shells came down, pieces of dead hawk started raining down past my screen!

I couldn't stop ing.

Ahaha.. dead hawk.. niice.. yea its really amusing when heli's get his by arty. But what about planes? Anyone had that experience yet? Ive seen it happen, the guy left after he got hit... Out of shame.. lol...

I myself have been hit by artillery while flying in a fighter over an enemy base that had had a strike ordered on it.

I curse my luck regularly.

I learnt a long time ago never to fly over the arty, whether it be friendly or enemy. In the past I have flown over the arty and at the precise moment i'm over the friendly arty our commander fires it.

Now I hold my breath whenever a guy flies over the top of a silent arty, hoping it doesn't wake up as soon as we are above it.

Who doesn't love blowing up choppers with arty? Especially when it is a transport chopper and it's full! But I hate it when it happens to me when I'm in a heli, or even worse, when I'm in a plane.

Just resently (and on the R2 server) I was 'Hawking and figured I'd help out the commander by doing a low fly-over of the artty 'cause 2 of the 5 guns were trashed and we had engies on-board.

No sooner did we get it fixed when it opened up and blew us outta the sky.
Can you give me a "DOH!!"?
