      Wow..that's a pretty loaded question.

      You probably shouldn't be doing it if you're even asking.

      Your best bet is to do what is suggested above and do a LOT of research first.

      Give a man an overclocked PC and he games for a day, TEACH a man to overclock, and he games for life

              in simple: Overclocking is using your BIOS or a program to make certain hardware run faster than it came, sometimes faster than it is built for. Example: you have a pentium 4 that you bought at 2.4ghz. You use your BIOS at startup to change some settings so that it now runs at 2.5ghz or 2.6ghz. This will make it run faster but will also cause more heat.
              Do not OC if you dont know anything at all about it. google is your friend. It can cause in-stability within your computer and sometimes can fry many compenents. But you can also overclock video cards easier using your vid card drivers. That is my really quick definition because I have to go. GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND!
