    Re: Which one?

I would proabably rule out the XFX (out of stock).

The second eVGA looks pretty tempting, but not sure if its worth the money.

So far the first eVGA and the BFG look good.

      Re: Which one?

out of those two tough, BFG is better since BFG has a higher clock spped and mem speed compared to the first eVGA. altough i'm kinda wondering if the third eVGA is worth the extra few buks. can som1 shed some light on this? will it make some kind of a difference?

        Re: Which one?

I would choose the OC'd eVGA one. It is about 20$ more and runs pretty cool. It is closest to the PCIexpress 6800gs speeds. The rest of them are at 6600 speeds -_-. Even the XFX. I would say this order: OCed eVGA, XFX, non-OCed eVGA, BFG. I have heard that BFG makes like the Omg11!11 Best cards ever 111!11!! OmG! but I have never had one. All my eVGA cards have been great and XFX seems very good. Maybe put BFG at #2 on my list, but I have never had one so cant say anything about it.

its between these three. i want the eVGA(cuz it has the fastest mem/clock speeds of them all), but i've heard they dont make good quality Video cards. BFG is adored by most people i've seen in the forums, so i'm thinkin of going BFG. i just need som1 to confirm that BFG is worth it.

ARGKJHRKTJHERKJ NO@Uho;W#Yr eVGA makes great cards!!!!!!!!! Anyone who wants to challenge that go ahead, they probably dropped their card on the ground and blamed it on eVGA. not only is it factory OCed, but its a great card. I have two, TWO eVGA 6800gs's and they work AWESOMELY! I will be honest, I did have one problem with the, the fan stopped working, but not because of evga, like I said, it was MY FAULT, I put my finger in the fan while it was spinning. I RMAed it and both of mine work fine! BFG most likely makes good card too, Im not putting them down, but I would go for the factory OC, not only that, but eVGA cards seem to be good for OCing. It also has a copper heatsink.

hey are you talkin about this one?

and where does it say that it has a copper heat sink? and out of curiosity, why did you stick you finger in your GC's fan?

anywayz thx for clearing eVGA's name for me. this card is the fastest out of the tree wit a $20 mail in rebate only a week to go b4 i buy this 1

P.S. any1 need a XFX6600GT 128 (AGP)? bought in in november. selin it somewere around $115

                1. the OCed eVGA pciexpress version has a copper heatsink, and Im not sure what "CO" stands for, probably has to do with the overclock. I guess Im not sure if the AGP version has a copper heatsink, but usually they make sure the cooling is sufficient for the overclock, so it will run cool OCed.
2.the 20$ mail in rebate is a great deal!
3.i stuck my finger in one, because i was a f-ing retard, and two because I wasnt sure the fan was running properly ^_^ i guess it was and I screwed it up.
                4. i might (that is a definite might, or maybe) buy that 6600gt. that is IF, the person using my old computer wants to upgrade, and if the card has nothing wrong with it. and maybe if it was a lil cheaper

                  Re: Which one?

i said around $110, so yeah.. maybe we can come to a sweet deal. and the card is this 1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150089
i got the box, cd and everything that came wit it. everything complete, xcept for the S-video cable, its somewer in my room.. errrrr gotta find it.
card is as i said about a month and a half used(got it in november, i think... b4 1.12 came out causing all these performance problems which is why i'm upgrading), and i OC'ed it for like 3 weeks(if it matters..) but remember its AGP not PCI-E.

P.S. the reason i asked bout you sticking your finger in your GC's fan is cuz i did it too, xept i did it with the procesors's fan(first comp o well lol). it wasn't moving so i tought i give it a little push>>> BOOM fan just went crazy and my finger broke one of the rotors(is that what they're called). lol.. my first compter... down the trashcan. sure learned my lesson, tryin to keep this 1 alive now...

                    Re: Which one?

OK, it took me a little bit to find this, as I had seen it in another forum/thread somewhere; interesting article with some 6800GS info:

Had some nice comments at the beginning re; XFX. Though it might give you a little extra to think on.

                    Cheers!

                      Re: Which one?

yeah.. thx for the info man, but out of the one's @ newweg, the eVGA has the fastest clock/mem speed of them all, and dont see any heatin problems in the comments section + its cheaper . the XFX @ newegg is out of stock and is not the fastest (manufacture OC'ed like eVGA) thx again for the info tough..
