    Crashing to desktop

    OK my game has crashed like 5 times a day to my desktop. I will be playing a game and at any point boom I am at my desk top. I have tried a new modem and nothing, I have latest patch, I have a 7800GTX vid card, dual core 3800 2 gig ram windows xp home, I have done a virus scan and spy ware scan and the problem still happens help me please.

    Do you keep internet security enabled? if so disable it, do you use a router? if so make sure the ports are opened to the correct settings?

      I have no router and I do have my AVG anti virus running and microsoft firewall.

          Try disabling your internet sercurity mate, i always turn mine off when playing bf2, if your firewall is running then you need to configure the port forwarding correctly?

            Ok first off, did you check the temp of your graphics card when this happens?

            And you may want to search the forum for CTD.

              you may want to kill off any programs running in the background and processes. that could help narrow the problem down. also post your full specs.
