I discovered that you don't actually need to buy SF to get the unlocks.

I played around a mates house on SF under my account as i havent purchased it yet and i got my next rank. When i got back on my PC to claim my new unlock I got the choice of all the new SF unlocks as well, even though I dont have SF on my machine

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! How could you say the G3 sucks? That is in no doubt the strongest and most accurate gun in the game, besides from the ERIX etc. Plus the G3 I found is the easiest gun to get to grips with. F2000 sucks, G3 owns! I hope they don't change the G3 in the next patch, don't touch it and leave it how it is, make it stronger perhaps? :)

i can only get 2nd tier unlocks if i have SF right?

No, you can log into your account on a machine that has SF installed, then you can get the unlocks.

hey fellas I was wondering what u have to do to unlock guns because I have unlocked a few weapons but they r crap. I unlocked anti-tank, and assault. Both suck. I want to unlock the berrett sniper, and special forces. what do i need to do? I am currently sergeant.

One thing you should know, Any Unlock that you do... you will want to kick yourself right after.

You got the 2 unlocks that I do not have... yet Wish I did.

The unlocks you have, in my opinion are some of the best...

For example.
AT kit's mp5 is crap... your better off with the handgun on medium distances.
The autoshotty... can take out 2 or 3 guys at once if used properly

The ASSULT Unlock
20 bullet clip... ya.. .scares ya...
Master that gun and people WILL HATE YOU
EXTREAMLY ACCURATE even standing up
EXTREAMLY POWERFUL... turst me... its a fantastic gun

I HATE the sniper unlock
I HATE the medic unlock... I got it because I hate the colt with the gay 3shot burst (the ak is fantastic)
The support is soso... powerful yet if your target is a little far... use your handgun...

SpecOp is OK... nice and accurate... but not all that powerful

k i need to know real quick. i jus ranked up to staff sergeant and i want to unlock the special forces f2000 assault rifle.do i need to unlock the g3 first? cus the only options i have is the regular bf2 dao, g3, jackhammer, and the support rifle. it doesnt give me the option to unlock the f2000 can sum1 please tell me wat to do . thx in advance

Yes, you must unlock the G3 before the F2000.
