Unlocking more guns!!!!!

hey fellas I was wondering what u have to do to unlock guns because I have unlocked a few weapons but they r crap. I unlocked anti-tank, and assault. Both suck. I want to unlock the berrett sniper, and special forces. what do i need to do? I am currently sergeant.

You can either:

a) gain another rank
or
b) buy Special Forces (unlocks are added to your account based on your current rank)

How do i "buy" special forces?

Go to the store and BUY a copy of Special Forces:

How do i "buy" special forces?

It's the xpansion pack, go to ur local store, or download it form EA downloader. ANyways, i am inferring that u are at a rank of corporal, if u buy SF, u won't get an extra unlock until u hit sergeant, when u get to sergeant and u already have the xpack, then u will get two unlocks to choose from, if u buy the xpack AFTER u rank up, then u will be prompted with one unlock after u play in a SF server.

hahaha i know what you did....

each time you gain rank you can unlock a weapon...however what you failed to realise is the fact that you can choose which weapon you unlock.
(there are buttons to switch between what gun you want)

and special forces is an expansion pack....

I think he's just getting the Spec Ops class and the Special Forces expansion mixed up.

I think he knows about the unlock selection button on the kit menu..otherwise he'd never have been able to actually try out the weapons he has already unlocked

not that unlock selection button...i mean the button you click to see the different guns you can unlock when your prompted to choose one. :wall:

this might b a stupid question but im completely new to battlefield. Is there a campaign mode in the game that i can accesss w/o going online and is there a way to capture video w/o going online since i seem to have problems.

ya, cause the DAO is the first unlock on that screen, and second is the G3 i believe (i am suure about the DAO, not about the G3 though).

No, there is no "campaign". Bf2 is a MMO, playing singleplayer is basicly for testing your graphics

Btw to the original poster, I can agree with you how the G3 is sucky. It is, and noone will convince me otherwise. Maybe when the 1.2patch is out I might change my mind (after extensive missing and dying, no doubt) but I wont hold my breath.

But please give DAO-12 another chance, use it for personal defence and not offence.. you may just find it better than you think.

DAO is awesome, after joining this forum and seeing ppl say good things, i finally unlocked it and now i play AntiTank more often.

as for the G3 for assault....my first unlock, and i kinda regret it, i never play assault anymore, but at the time of unlock i played assault all the time. its not necesarily a bad gun, its actually pretty decent in terms of power and such, its just a small clip that goes quick.

Ugh, I can't stand the F2000's sights... horrible. Usually when I pick that kit all I want is the flashbangs.
