Slow (nonexistent) stat updates... Current

I spent yesterday evening at cain's lair and racked up numerous points as well as a badge or two. However, nothing is registering! 12-15 hours later, it's as though I was never there. This is the case for the in-game bfhq as well as for the websites that post such thing. This is rather disconcerting as I was focusing on killing more and dying less... and it appeared to be working.

My questions: Is this common? Do they update more than a day later? Are they gone for good? Was there something going on with the server? Or is it an issue with BF2's recording?

they can be very slow to update sometimes. Same thing happened to me yesterday...and I had thought I was going to lose out on the badge I earned and all the points. But I checked it this morning and I had 300 more points than I did last night, and a shiny new badge...lol. Sometimes it just takes a while to update...other times you get screwed
