Expert sniper... kills have to be done after hours?

I finally got 100hrs as sniper... and I didn't get the expert badge. I know I've had rounds with more then 35 kills. Heck my streak is 32 and I did that with a sniper rifle. So do you have to wait till after you get the hours before it counts your kills? I've been looking forward to this badge but now it appears I'm going to have to get in a tank and whore it up or something. Sheesh.

go to www.bf2s.com and scroll down and highlight the sniper badge with your cursor, it will have check marks on what you have, and red x's on what you don't have. Maybe your stats haven't registered yet.

I've tried that, but I've never seen it put a check next to the kills. It's just blank, no red or green check. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this before or anything.

You have to get 100 hours, THEN go for the kills needed.

PBAsydnet is right, and it works the same for all such awards that require a certain number of hours of something.
