well SOME laptops you can, but its very expensive and very very hard. But, most likely, the game wouldnt even turn on. and even if it did for some unkown godly reason like a rip in space-time, the instant you joined a server it would crash like PLOP!

It will install.. but it wont start, you wont even be able to get to the menu page.. it will just start up then go black and go back to desktop. It wont start unless it has AT LEAST 128 MB of RAM. Sorry man.

thanks guys..ill try bf2 later when i get back home..the reason i was asking because ive read about some guy who played pretty well with a 64 mb video card and most of the time when u get a ctd becuase of hardware its cuz the video card doesnt support 1.4 shaders or something and i have a geforce 5200 in my other computer that runs bf2 slowly, but still runs it

                    Wrong, sorry.

Dell laptops are fully upgradable, you can change everything as well as mod them.

Upgrade the Vid Card to MIN of 128 and you will be fine running it...either that or buy an XPS....they run them PERFECTLY

I dont know ur specs might fit it, but BF2 is not made to be played on a laptop. I have realy nice specs, i got the xps m170 dell and it has HIGHEST specs u can get. and it wont run it, the game is so glitchy id said wait till it goes down in price and they make a patch to fix it before u buy it. or if ur risky go ahead and try it out.

I have a Dell Inspiron 600m and it runs just fine on it. I have to run with the video settings lower but it still runs ok. I have only 64mb video ram.
