Isn't FF supposed to be ON on Ranked Servers? Isn't that a prerequisite?

I dunno, but I've seen ranked servers run with FF turned off, so I imagine not.

I was just going by this over at WOLservers. (I would think they know their stuff)
What server setting must I have in order to have a Ranked Server?
At the request of Electronic Arts, the following settings will not be altered: Min Players: 16 (there is at least one 8 player server currently being run by one of our partners…starting with our first update it will no longer be possible to run a Ranked server with fewer than 16 players, so best to sort this out now). Friendly Fire: 100% for all settings sv.password = empty string --Ranked servers are intended to be available to all players. I have had the same thing a few times and to my embarrasment i've seen the red tag and shot on sight because i didn't want to die (AGAIN!). Only after being punished for a TK did I post a message to ALL on the server at the time saying about it.

Yet another bug in this ants nest of a game :hmm:

yeah the red tag bug is yet another 'feature' EA put in to bf2 since the first versions.

Its a joke really they have the cheek to release SF and now EU Forces and actually expect us to pay for them when they've made no effort to sort things like that out, the browsers the other thing i mean how hard is that to do right?

They're either incompetant or simply don't care.
