problems with punkbuster

ok so i havent played bf2 in a few days, when i goto join a server, within a few minutes of playing i get kicked because the pb version is a mismatch, so i go run pbweb it updates my files and i still get the error after a few minutes of playing...

Have you tried PBSETUP.exe?

Hello...
Same problems here, tried pbsetup, pbwed, and manual update, but none worked for me... always "bla bla server running old version bla bla..." on every server i try.
I guess only a few server are up to date due to the amount of PB updates theses days... :wall:

I get the same error, its because your pb is updated to Version 1.227 and the server is at Version 1.225. If you look at the PB website you will see they just came out with the update so its likely that the servers havent updated to the new version yet.

Pfff... each time i want to play this game (3-4 times a month...) it doesn't work... Please Punkbuster bust yourself and EA at the same time for making buggy games and buggy countermeasures. Or someone make a PunkBuster-Buster to counter these countermeasures...
