Ok, I'm new to this modding thing, and I recently downloaded the most recent BF2 mod editor from EA and Dice... I've been playing around with it and still don't know much, but I have been changing certain properties that should have affects on the gameplay. Here is my problem: I go to save it, and it saves my mod in the folder even though it gives me an error sometimes saying it could not save, but anyways, so then I load Battlefield 2 and start playing a level with my mod. I get in, and i try to test out everything i changed but nothing has been affected, and to see if i could get something to change, I tried changing hitpoints to see if i could stay alive longer but it was just the same still.... plain old BF2..... does anyone know what I need to do, or if i just may be editing the files wrong?
Also, if anyone has any advice or tutorials on that editor, like how to change jump heights, parachute properties, etc. I'd greatly appreciate it.
