Custom Map will not show up in list {Help please}

Hello, im having some trouble with my custom bf2 map, i have already searched the forums, but all i can fins are questions about loading errors. when i save my map and try to create a local server with it the map does not appear in the map list

I have tried saving it as a different name
I have tried packing it

so whats up with that? how can i fix it?

That was your problem - resaving it under a different name. After doing so you must go into your info folder and change the .desc filename to your new map name. You must also open the .desc file with notepad and on the line that says map - change the name to your new map name

Thanks bud, now atleast i can see it, it now gets to 15% loaded and crashes to desk, but i think i found a tutorial on that around here somewhere ^^

Another detail I forgot - you need to open you .desc file with notepad and change the line with map to your new map name. Although this wont fix you crash

go to gotfrag and type percent in the search, it's a common issue, can't remember what it is though. Might be due to the desc. file having wrong map info in it.
