i never even notice any profanity or in game speaking at all. i never say anything, or even see what others are writing cuz there is always so much going on i dont pay attention.

or maybe ur brain just cant handle too many things going on at once! heh heh im just kidding! when im in the thick of it my back cud be on fire and i wud not even notice! let alone some bot saying i should keep my filthy mouth shut! i do agree with you, but none the less its annoying.

tho it makes a good thread it can get off the beaten track after a while so maybe we shud just accept thems rules.....and the busy bodies that make them can feel happy in the sense they can tell a relatively tiny bunch of people on a server what they can and cannot do. i suppose everyone needs to feel superior about something.....

would be easier to read if it was in a diff part of the screen....seems to conflict too much with the kill notices and such. they shoudl move it lower down on the screen, like they have in CS.

I know this question is a bit off topic but isnt that game 15+ not 16+. Cause that what my box says aswell as all the boxes in the shop. Has the place I brought mine from put the wrong sticker on or am I missing something?

You completely ignore the fact that this is a game for 16+ and so you shouldn't be letting those children play or if you do then considering there playing a violent game meant for adults a little swearing is hardly gonna make much difference. This is very reminicent of the general scewed american perspective of how its fine for children to see violence engage in violence but god fobid there ever exposed to anything sexual or a rude word.

As for my sig im not promoting anything im simply taking the mic out of all the 'sheep' who copy and paste inane signatures in to there own that mean nothing at all, as for general cannabis use? I think if more people smoked cannabis and didn't drink the world would be a far more inspired less violant place.

And no i don't have children but i do work in a school as there network admin and occasionally teach.

The ratings on games is just a 'suggested' age range.
It is not illegal for people under the posted age to play the game and as I said...all the parents of the kids that play with my clan have given there consent to do so. so bring it up with their parents not me. At least we asked for their consent and didn't just let them become part of the group.

You're crying about how this game can affect kids just because there's killing in it. There's no raping...there's do disembowelment...there's no gore. The game was developed not to have those elements. This is a war game. In was you kill your enemy. You kill your target. That's all this game is doing. I'd rather have my kids playing a game like this than out with their friends smoking 'canibus'.
Oh...and as far as the pot statements you made? So we need drugs to make us civilized now? (My wife laughed at that pitiful statement too.)
I can see now that your nothing but a pothead so I am relieved that after this argument is long over I will still have more brain cells than you and that anything further you have to say means about as much to me as the braincells you destroy with every drag.

Guys, chill out.
If people kick you for swearing then it's pretty simple either don't swear or go on another server. FWIW i think that kicking/ warning someone for saying 'BS' or 'WTF' is pathetic, but again the individual owner of the server has the right to do what they want.

Basically, lemme make this simple......

EULA rules state that bad language of any sort is not allowed. Therfore, when you are renting a server with this game you "should" adhere to these rules, no expections!
Why flame people for doing their job by kicking the people who persist on using language of that sort AND keeping to the rules that they must with them renting that server.......

Until you become a server owner, don't say anything you don't know about!
I rent two servers, 1 Ranked and 1 Unranked. On both the server will auto-kick offenders using language that the EULA rules DO NOT allow.
Servers could by-pass this, that's why EA have asked PB to jump in and resolve this behaviour.....

If you want to swear, swear to yourself AND not within in-game chat and you won't be kicked. Simple as that

I think the whole swearing thing is silly. Its a 16+ game. Alot of 16+ games have swear words in them.
Now letting children play 16+ games is one thing. But getting on a moral high horse about swearing while letting children play games of killing is just messed up.

As a working class dude, its my culture to swear. So swearing is the best way for me to express myself. If someone shoots at me, trust me, I will swear. War is a working class thing. Nearly every war film has loads of swearing. So Class and War = swearing.

I'm a lead tech for an IS dept of a global Pharmaceutical company whose local site has over 3000 users. But what we do for a living is irrelevant here. See now you're getting off topic.

How did sex get into this picture? I don't subject anyone to graphic images of sex or violence. (Again...this game is not graphic). I also didn't say bad language "isn't OK" as you put it.
Our policy for language was adopted and voted on by my entire clan not just me. We consider the people who play on our servers 'our community'. Why should we not want to have it be more' friendly'.
As I said, stop bitching about someones ethical viewpoint and go find another server.

As I stated, EA's own official servers do not allow profanity. Have you complained to EA yet?
