Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
haha now at least theres a point to being a sniper... you can actually hide! so lame that peeps turn down their settings just so no terrain features are rendered.
I dont know what your smoking, but those are not ingame screens. Take a look at the trailers, they look like **** compared to BF2.
Fanboyish' is a very serious thing. This is an example.
Look. I'm going to be frank with everyone. You SHOULD expect this from the 360.
It's a simple equation. What happens when you stick the worlds most powerfull consumer level GPU, with a 3.2ghz processor, and take away the burden of "Windows"? What happens people!? Tell me!? ...you all know the answer.
You get dominate "Graphics". I say graphics because so far, from what the 360's CoD2 has shown me, online play is limited to like 8 people; that really doesn't equal steller gameplay.
Yet! In the graphics department the 360 is gunna' rock for a while. At least until ATI gets off of their hiney's and releases that GPU for the PC. When that day comes, I'm gunna' be broke.
Those images are prerendered and are NOT realtime, this was proven quite a while ago. I'm not going to comment on it untill they show us some images that were rendered in realtime.
Noob is such a childish word. Yeah I got an Xbox 360, Consoles are ok... I admit my 360 don't get played very often.
Again watch the videos over at IGN, those images WERE NOT pre-rendered. I saw the videos in action and they really do look that good. BF2 Modern Combat however is another game as far as vehicles and what not goes. They did spend more time with this version however just by looking at the screenshots and watching the videos you can tell that.
I really do not get involved in those little wars over which is better. To be my PC is a console in every way. I game on it thats why its here. At the end of the day I could careless which is better... They both have their disadvanages and advanages... up until now the PC really had no disadvanage... now we just wait for next gen video cards and watch as the Xbox 360's graphics begin to look poorer and poorer compared to the PC's.
Suffice it to say this is a BF2 for the PC Forum. We can argue the 360 vs the PC all day, but in the end this is still a PC Forum. So STFU about the X360 already, we honestly don't care how great the graphics are. Can you mod the Xbox version? Can you accurately aim with an Analog joybutton? NO. PC users win, the end.
well, if you havent played the console versions of bf2, dont worry yourself. they have horrible gameplay physics compared to the pc and imho the graphics arent much better either.
The xbox 360 favors the pc more t hen the PS3.. I never argue that the xbox 360 was better for the idiot above who obviously can't read. My argument is they spent more time on the console version of this game to make it better... It just seems like for the same exact price other then not having a mouse to aim properly with someone with a 360 is getting a better deal on the quality of the two different games. Had EA spent the time they did on this version we may actually have the same graphics, with lower CPU and GPU cost. The game could of been done better.
I hate some of the answer's EA has given about why the bots weren't implemented, and other things that were promised aren't there. They make it sound like it was the hardest thing in the world to over come. I love playing Bf2 but I myself am waiting for the mods like PoE...
Good graphics a game do not make is all I have to say. Well that and the fact that aiming sucks on consoles and that it is much, much more arcadey than the PC version. It may be called Battlefield 2, but its as much Battlefield 2 as Battalion Wars on the Gamecube is Advance Wars on the Gameboy/DS (Yeah, I like Nintendo games :))
PC > Consoles, its as easy as that, and i dont know what you people are talking about. Those trailers looked pretty bad to me, and the only 260 game that i have seen with decent gfx is that GR: advanced warfare or whatever its called.
i have played all the consoles versions and dont worry about it. they are nothing compared to the pc. nothing.... we are not getting shafted or left out, i promise. if you dont believe me, go buy each at ~$40 and try them out and you will see it is not worth playing if you already have the pc version. the end.
Answer is yes and no.... For the Xbox 360, all the hardware is the same, processor, video card etc so developers know exactly what they have to work with and how far they can go. With the PC, the game must be backwards compatible and work with older video cards, slower processors and so forth. They could have made the game much better but then it would have required everyone to own a Gforce 7800GTX, but not everyone can afford a $4000 video card and 2 Gigs of RAM.
