yes it will as long as you tell it not too delete the profiles when asked too. I did it this morning, there are two other options at the time, delete screenshots and serversettings as well

You can go ahead and delete everything and then go to "manage accounts" and "retrieve account" in the login menu once you reinstall it. If you do delete the profiles though, you will have to redo all your settings (video, audio controls, etc.)

i just reinstalled bf2 and SF cause it said my cd key was invalid and i tried changing it through the registry program on another thread but that didn't work so i installed them , BF2 installed fine but SF came up with an error telling me to start the insallation all over again, then so i did, and it said the same thing, it was the easied command i've read but it didn't have an explaination why i had to.

this all started when i created a new account,which then for some reason, for everytime i tried to join a match it said my cd key was invalid.

Did you install SF and BF2 on the same username in Windows?

Any your key is encrypted with the latest patches so make sure you're using:
