Also at BfTracker.com they have mention a release of 1.2 is now set at Feb.7th, but original they mention it was at Feb 1st.

It seems that the delay on the Euro Force Booster Pack has to do with the delay of patch 1.2. From a couple of sites and different sources we've heard that the BF2 patch 1.2 has been set back 2 weeks.

The reason appears to be that the Trusted Partners (gamehosters who offer ranked servers) want to see a couple of serverbugs fixed in patch 1.2. At this moment it isn't confirmed by EA nor DICE.

It's worth noting that resent patch vids have shown that C4 lobbing has not been elmiminated. As this is one of the gameplay issues that people want fixed, I suspect that it's caused a delay of atleast one test cycle.

The Booster Packs contain official maps that will be in the map rotation lists on ranked servers. We are happy to see that there are so many mods out there, but currently there is no support for them on ranked servers. We do however encourage people to try different mods, since they are an important part of our community.

No unlocks.

It's worth noting that resent patch vids have shown that C4 lobbing has not been elmiminated.

Those are not official videos, and previous, more proffesional videos show C4 chucking gone.

Yeah, that can also be interpreted as: Screw mods, give us money. I think the delayed release of the editor tools (which were promised to us....days before the retail release? And we've had a beta until when...weeks ago?) as well as them cutting loose the representative to the mod community and now leaving the community to themselves, should speak very loudly about EA's true opinion about mods.

Why are you guys whining? Actually I'm LOVING this! Did you even read what it said? The new Booster pack IS NOT going to give EF players weapons that Vanilla BF2 players wouldnt have. The only thing it is adding is new maps and armies. In my view charging for new maps that will have no effect on Vanilla players is perfectly reasonable.

Not to mention it's been stated countless times before, but there is no new unlocks for euro forces.
