Me and my brother were playing on a Karkand-64 server for some clan called =BR=... we were pretty much dominating all of the games... then in the last game, we were USA we took over the MEC base early and i actually started to get challenged that game and kept dying by roving convoys of tank/apcs. And they kept retaking their MEC base and they actually started to win... so i said screw it, i took over their base, me and my brother took a tank and apc and someone else jumped in the other... they kept driving up trying to take the flag and sending waves of anti-tank guys at us while we tried to get supplies and stay repaired... dying once in a while... one guy in particular did 2 long distance BS anti tank shots that curved over the fence and perfectly hit my brother... anyways, so we're all defending the flag, and i made a few attempts to take the Warehouse that they were hiding in but that usually meant death... then suddenly me and my brother both got kicked for 1 minute by an admin when the game was almost over... the reason "spawn camping"... first of all, i don't know if he means we were camping on their flag killing them because we weren't, and even if we were, who cares... or if he means we were camping our flag which we were defending and they kept trying to take... either way, it was dumb... so we both went back on and said some choice words to the admin... my brother got banned permanently... i don't how i didn't... anyways...
i was wondering what the concensus here is for "spawn-camping" and defending and camping in general... it's not like they didn't have other flags to spawn on... they were challenging us and we met the resistance... i just don't know what was going on in this admin's head and i hate servers that make up rules as they go along and ban seemingly because they don't like it when they lose and the game isn't going their way... there are no rules in war... yes some things like glitches and stuff are just plain wrong... but defending a flag and killing the enemy any way possible is what this game is about...
and i may as well ask since i don't feel like making another thread but is there a hack or something that makes people invisible or go into walls or something? on Karkand-64, there were two guys who were by the MEC flag and were showing up on UAV near that roof that people get to from the crane... i zoomed in but no one was on the roof... i thoroughly searched the area but no one was around yet grenades kept falling on me... i artilleried the area... nothing... if i searched on foot i'd get killed... so either there's an awesome hiding spot or they were hacking... and the next game one of the people that was hiding there had 95 kills and 5 deaths... now i wouldn't say anything about that if we weren't completely massacring their whole team and they had no APCs or tanks to use... which means he must've gotten 95 kills on foot... 85 of them were within the first half of the game... this game is just really starting to annoy me...
