As for jordans quote about the spinning tank and high sensitivty, it doesnt necessarily make you a cheater for having it on max settings (I have mine on 7).

If im not mistaken, you have to edit some config files and add in a few lines of code inorder to peform the exploit. Atleast thats how I think you do it, I really didnt take much notice to the "Karkand Exploit Exposed" thread posted a couple of weeks ago.

the tank exploit is already fixed in the 1.2 patch, and that is a modification of game files that will get you reset or more..

1. GLOBALLY ENFORCED RANKED SERVER RULES
These are rules that all admins/players using ranked servers are expected to observe and are set by EA under the EULA.
a. You may not arrange for the exchange or transfer of any pirated software or other contraband while you are on our servers or these Services, this will lead to immediate ban.
b. You may not market, promote or advertise anything, or make any other form of solicitation (including pyramid schemes and chain letters) on any of our services. Clan recruiting is not prohibited.
c. You may not change (hack) any core game files or employ external programs or cheats for the purposes of giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players.
d. Server admins may not change any game settings defined as standard for ranked servers (ticket ratios, server password, round time, etc.)
e. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on vehicles or weapons that players can use while on your server (e.g. knives only, aircraft prohibited except for clan members, etc.)
f. Server admins may not explicitly or implicitly (by actions) enforce restrictions on roles or kits that players can use while on your server e.g. Commander, Squad Leader, Spec Ops, etc.)
g. Server admins may not use non-standard maps or modified versions of standard maps.
h. Players may not use or exploit game mechanisms to artificially boost their scores ("stats padding") and Server admins may not knowingly allow or encourage this activity on their servers.
i. Players may not Impersonate EA ADMINS.

no complaints here mate, was just trying to clarify that having your mouse sensitivy set to maxiumum (vehicle/plane category) can also be used for legit purposes, some people prefer playing with ultra high sensitivity.... unless you start editing those config files, then you deserve to be banned.

Since I dragged this thread offtopic, I think its my job to steer it back in the right direction.

Not really, actually. *that site* happens to update stats on an hourly basis, when it's not busy. Suffice it to say his stats are indeed zero, however, I don't update stats for people with less than 100 points, so his stats will stay as they are as long as that account never gets more than 100 points.

and honestly, do you think whoever handles all that stuff is 100% perfect, im sure mistakes have been made

also, i wouldnt put it beyond some asshat to false report someone that owned em hard one game & managed to get their account reset (though this would get you the e-mail)

I've just got an email today saying my stats have been reset and I swear on my life, I've never done any stats padding or team-killing or anything. Where's the explanation? Where's the proof?

That's all the explanation it gives. And when I click on the link to dispute it, it takes me to a customer support page where I can't find anything about disputing their claim.

I've only just started playing the game again a little after not playing it at all for 3 months. After the pathetic bug started where friendlies show up as enemies, I lost interest and started playing other things. I started getting back into it recently and I simply can't believe that that bug is still in the game after that amount of time.

If this is the way EA treats their paying customers, this is the last damn EA game I'll be buying. Thank God for BitTorrent.

And before anyone replies saying I'm lying, why would I bother taking the time to register on this site and type all this out if I was in the wrong? I don't even care about the points that much. It's just the principle that I paid good money, put up with bugs that should have been fixed long ago, and they just wipe all the hours I put in, when I could have been doing other things.
