Yeah it's not a bad short video, not a lot really happens in it though and it's a bit of a one-joke video but not bad.

But what I think really stinks is the title of the thread! "Winner of the BF2tracker video contest" - are you joking?!! YOU DIDN'T WIN!!!

    LIAR

    YOU CAME SECOND!!

At least change the title to "A" Winner...

And reading the thread on www.bf2tracker.com I can see why you posted it here.

YOU ARE A REALLY BAD LOSER and couldn't help but slag off the winner and judges when you couldn't take losing.

The contest originally stated 3 winners, I was one of them, but allot of people agree that Airmine was the winner hands down.
If it was under the judge’s stern opinion and educated minds they would realise that Airmine was the winner.
I try to look professional, but when the view is so clear it's hard for me to "keep cool" when the judges were so incapable of their jobs. There was never in in-depth analysis, and the only reason I hear that Pilot+1 was better was based on "music choice".
I also would like to quote:
This was a video making contest, not a showcase of a players' achievements.
If I was to make a music video (which I refuse to do) of unrehearsed, non-story battlefield footage with same explosive editing. Do you think I would come in first? Do the judges even think outside the box?

"The contest originally stated 3 winners, I was one of them,"

Right, so you were "A" Winner. In fact according to the front page of bf2tracker you were actually "Second Place". First Place and "Winner" was NOT you. I call B###S##T

"but allot of people agree that Airmine was the winner hands down".

And there were also people who agreed that the other video deserved to win. Especially the judges whos site and competition it is.

"If it was under the judge’s stern opinion and educated minds they would realise that Airmine was the winner"

So you are calling the judges uneducated and wrong because you didn't win. That's pathetic.

        "I try to look professional"

        Try harder.

"If I was to make a music video (which I refuse to do)"

Did you read the guys post? HE refused to make a COMEDY video - because there's so many of them.

I'd say the other video won because it was better made. Yours was (a little) funnier but his wasn't meant to be funny. And the TK thing at the end was even done better than in yours.
Anyway, you video was just one part of a longer video you did ages ago - do you think you deserve to win by just cutting a bit out of it and entering it?

Yours might have been funny but the judges were judging on film making skill not a single joke filmed with average skill.

You really need to accept that you lost without blaming it on someone else, then maybe you can add humility (and the respect that goes with it) to the talent you seem to think you have.

Re: [Movie] "Airmine" - Winner of the BF2tracker video contest

Well I'm just standing by my opinion, Airmine had all the right stuff to be a winner, comedy is always better, and I didn't know Pilot+1 made you laugh. Both videos had that twist, I disagree that the TK was done better in Pilot+1. (Filming the menu, right...) and Pilot+1 simply had no plot.

I found I was making a movie for a bunch of kid's, and in my book, real critics wouldn't rate a music video with repeating footage as anywhere near Hollywood standard.
You must agree that this contest needed at least some boundaries to what subject the video had to be based. Comparing a music video to something you had to think about is to difficult for some people. Which is why I feel the competition was drawn at personal preference, Pilot+1 gained an unfair advantage.

Well i just downloaded bought films, and if i was to pick the better movie id pick Airmine as the better film. Least it had a story and some good audio editing. Anyone can put a music video toghter.

Can't help posting dont normally comment on such things, but reguardless. I am downloading your video right now and even if its the best video I have EVER seen its already tainted with your attitude and the fact your a are a sore loser.
As far as I am concerned the best man/video DID win. Had your video been made by spielberg your not deserving of the "winning" title based on principle.

If I would have got second place I would not have shown such disrespect by naming my video as the winning one, but then proving how much of an idiot I am and how much its bothered me by lowering myself to attacking the winning video. It's one thing to feel you have lost when you should have won, but to make it publicly known you are not happy about it is a bit gay, let alone to then start ripping the "winning" video to pieces in a bid to make yours look better.

I bet the video is brilliant, I hardly even doubt it, but I will find it hard to appreciate it knowing it was made by someone with such a shallow outlook on things and a gift to put his mouth into gear before thinking about it.

But I hardly want to cause a flame war, just that to say I am sure your videos amazing, but dont beat yourself up as you did get first place, as everyone knows second place is first loser :)

              Fits perfectly.

I would never diss pilot+1, it's a very good video, and it rightfully won. I was commenting on the judges lack of detail when it came down to voting.
The judges vote isn't necessarily the one everybody agrees on, and I don't plan on continuing this epidemic. The publics opinion was enough for me, I don't need anymore grief about why I didn't win because I have the entire compilation behind my back.
                Thankyou for the thoughout comment.

Thank you Decoy, I was feeling rather discouraged by some of their comments. I was only saying what was true to me, I still stand by my argument, but to be honest I just want to put this behind me now, get on with another great movie to entertain and not to be put up against.

I'm even being accused of not making Airmine in the other forum. (can you believe) Of course I even created a website to host my videos... Some people are truly grateful for someone else's hard work and time nowadays.

Ok thats enough guys. If anyone has a problem then deal with it in pms. And "Savdo" if you have a problem have bf2tracker contact me and we will sort it out. Dont take it upon yourself to flame someone on these forums, and ESPECIALLY registering just to flame and blame someone. This is not tolerated on this forums and will not be in the near future.

I'm currently bugging the hell out of Joe $moe for a script to possibly the biggest epic movie by TBF2.

                            Here's a stupid question:

Is this movie different in any way compared to the featuring in the compilation ?

                              It's not a stupid question.
Obviously, entering just that part on its own is too easy. So I made some modifications, adding the bells and whistles to make it the best I could without damaging the original content.
Theres a small change log somewhere, but the differences are mostly recognised by new sound effects, and a small bonus scene at the end which isn't in the compilation.

I see, I was under the impression it was something along those lines but wasn't quite sure.

I'm still trying to download it, along with a few others, but the slowness that is FileFront forbids me.
