Special Forces Unlock Question

Hey, just got SF, although I have a question about weapon unlocks..

Will I get a free one, or do I need to wait for my next promotion to get one.. because at the rate I'm going, it won't be for a while.

You should get additional unlocks. Because with only vanilla bf2, you get 1 unlock per promotion. With SF, you get an additional unlock per promotion. So you should have additional unlocks available with the SF package installed.

i have the same problem i just installed SF and i didnt get any free unlocks, even though i have 5 in the original

Installing now.. so when I log in, will I be prompted to unlock some more weapons, or do I need to wait till I get promoted again to do that?

I'm currently a Gunnery Seargent.

i have the same problem i just installed SF and i didnt get any free unlocks, even though i have 5 in the original

You actually have to play at least one round in SF (and get a kill purportedly) before the extra unlocks are granted.
