Definately not the weapons fault, use semi-auto and tap a few shots into the guy thats all it takes. Coming from a big time spec ops user the G36c is tough to be in the right hands

It was probably a glitch, remember your playing on an internet connection, there's some deviation, Just yesterday on SF i must have shot like 50 bullets at a guy that was right in front of me, laying prone, and he was shooting at me, we didn't kill each other, he went to reload, a slide to the side a bit, and bang, i kill him, by the way i had the G36E or wichever the support one is. Just like the AA not working good enought, have you use the AA offline?? it is hardcore, hardly ever misses.

Exactly. I've been telling people this forever, but nobody believes me. :cry:

AA doesn't need improving, the netcode does. The AA does wacky things online that it doesn't do offline, what more proof do you need? :)

Part of the problem is that you think the m16 is a lesser weapon than the g36c.

It is... why would tierweapons otherwise exist?

it's not you, it's the weapon. G36C is one of the weakest weapon in game (damage wise), it's comparable to Quake3's peashooter: accurate, but weak.

Imagine this scenario, you are a spec op, I am a support, using my favorite PKM.

now, you shot me twice at midrange, do 33 damage (66% damage reduction, I have armor), I turned back, went prone, and shot you twice while you managed to shot me twice again (our fire rates are about the same because you wouldn't pull fullauto on G36C), now I have 33 health left, you have 10 (45x2), one more shot you are dead, but one more shot to me i wouldn't, that does not include situation when I headshot you.

let's take your "lesser" M16, at medium range, assuming that practical accuracy are similar, M16 will also win because of the body armor.

Unfortunately, G36C is not a weapon that allows you to perform kill reliably even if you see the person first, I prefer you migrate to high damage weapon such as G3, PKM, or AK47.

I just tried it in semi auto mode. I had mixed results. Up close it seemed much better. At medium range it was horrible. I was going one on one with a guy with an L85. I saw him first, shot at him single shot basically, but it didn't phase him. I talking about 10 shots or more before he got off a single shot, then bam, he killed me dead.

Is there an option the default to semi mode? I kept forgetting to hit 3 each time I spawned and wasted a lot of ammo in auto mode. I just now thought of it instead of in game so I can't go check the options right now without reloading the game.

If you can miss 10 shots of G36 than the problem is on your side

Maybe I didn't miss entirely, I just didn't get a kill shot and he had body armour, I didn't.

Think about it - The G3 is more accurate at long range, more accurate at medium range, and more powerful at short range. AND they're somehow improving this already godly gun in the next patch.

I have never lost a firefight to a G36C with a G3, unless they're either bunny hoppers, shooting me in the back while Im shooting someone else, or there's multiple Spec Ops.

G3's cone of fire has an area many times larger than G36C at long range.

G3's base accuracy = 0.5, G36C = 0.15

You keep going full auto, that's your problem.

Tap the fire button on automatic and I'll guarantee you, this rifle will own. Bullets in this game seems to fly backwards when you go on full auto.
