I play Spec Ops kit most of the time because I like blowing things up.

I have almost no confidence, however, in the G36c which I have been using forever. I used to think that no matter what weapon you use, the game was programmed so that the first person to shoot always got the kill because I was getting killed a lot by so-called lesser weapons like the plain old M-16. I did notice that a lot of times the other guy got off the first shot and I subsequently died.

Now I just think the G36c isn't that great. Yesterday for example I laid some c4 by a flag on Oman and got up in one of those bunker things and waited. Here comes a guy. He didn't get close enough to the c4. He laid prone by near the flag. He didn't see me. I zoomed in and emptied a full clip. NOTHING! I pulled out of sight as I reloaded. As soon as I got back in sight, and I was prone, not standing, for a shot, it seemed like he shot two or three rounds and I was dead before I knew it. It was so weak. I could not believe it.

One good thing I have noticed about the G36c is that it does pretty good at long distance. I have picked off a number of unsuspecting noobs at a pretty good distance as long as I use short bursts. It seems at close range, though, the G36c isn't that great.

Now, if you disagree, fine. Give me some constructive criticism, some technique, but if you want to tell me I suck, spare me.

Part of the problem is that you think the m16 is a lesser weapon than the g36c.

I have it on auto, but i still click single shots of it, but face to face i unload

Yeah, do semi auto, and it shoots at the tip of the vertical iron sight. Not above the tip. The M16 is a fine gun in bf2 as well. You can own with that gun. I think the G36C gets all the hype because it is an unlock. I personally like using the m4 better because of the red dot scope, when I am spec ops. Peace!

Definately not the weapons fault, use semi-auto and tap a few shots into the guy thats all it takes. Coming from a big time spec ops user the G36c is tough to be in the right hands

When shooting prone vs prone, parallel to the ground, you MUST use single shot. Full Auto and Burst never hit. It's some stupid side effect of the way they code projectiles and deviation.

Personal opinion is that the g36c rocks for the Spec Ops kit... I prefer it to the newer SCAR-L... To be accurate at range you need either to use very short bursts or single shots... On semi-auto (single shots) the gun is rediculously accurate...

You have to remember though that the carbines lose out to the assault rifles on damage. Most of the carbines average 4 hit to kit with the assault rifles are 3 hits to kill and that is before facting in body armour or head shots...

G36C is a very nice gun. You just need to get used to sniping using semi-auto. point at the head.

I even once tried to snipe USMC guys spawning beside the arty in wake island... from the island. I was very lucky to get few headshots from that far away! it is a sweet gun!

If you're PLA, stick with the QBZ-97...it's the best Spec Ops gun of the lot.

Man the GS6C is simply amazing. Once you learn to how fire it in bursts its probably THE best unlock.

I don't have a problem with it when controlling bursts or single shots. It is very accurate when you make it - and it is very powerful too. Does not take many shots to get a kill up close.

Control your shots rather then squeezing off a clip.
