must agree with topicstarter, there used to be more people on the servers, lately you find full srevers , but not as much as a month ago

4/10 of my fav servers are full for SF. then again.. of the 20 or so i got, like 4/10 for bf2 are full aswell... i cant access an entire sect of servers because of my friggin router, so im stuck with like.. 2 sets..

I have been away for awhile, so when I get back I crank up the computer, load up the game, go to my favorites (I have about 50 I use) and bang, all the servers are still there and running but no-one is playing. So I tried again on Saturday afternoon (there have to be loads of people playing then)....nothing, even on the "all servers" tab there are only about 10 total servers with anyone playing SF on them (of the 600 or so that come up for me), where did everyone go? I guess it's back to vanilla again....does anyone play the expansion pack any more?

Of course buddy, got my basic anti tank specialist yesterday infact, fav map has got to be 1st-ghost town, 2nd-warlord! whats everyone elses fav map? should be a sticky?

I play Karkand, Wake and Warlord mostly. Too bad you cant mix those maps

ghost town and warlord are realy the better ones ,
but both have downsides, the AA and TOW on ghost town are placed to baserape , and on warlord the fighting in the palace is my favorite thing but offcourse many gamers ruin it by overusing the noobtube

I play as much as I can, but the servers providing it are few. Also, it seems there's a lot of 24/7 Warlord, and 24/7 Ghost Town. That's way too much for me. I'll endure Gator, but I stay ashore with MEC repairing arty and going for that habitual spec ops. Laaaaaaaaag. With Navy Seals, I hang out in the bay with the rubberboats fending off attacks and just guarding the place until that map is over.

The night maps are annoying to play. Those look like people just end up sniping a lot, especially at the airfield, and capping the flags just doesn't get done with the same vigor as BF2. I don't usually feel like searching the entire map in the darkness playing "Find the Snipers", who get way too easy kills when you move from building to building in the dark.

Seems like if you're defending a post, you'd have an idea what the terrain is like, since you'd be there all day, as well as all night. Attackers might have some disadvantage, but they would have good maps. Unless I get a good idea what the terrain is on all those maps, I doubt I'll enjoy them much.

So, playing this SF thing is a pain half the time, and fun the other half. I try to play it as much as I can anyway, though.

I tend just to play Ghost Town on Moders.

I used to play there (is it supposed to be "modders", by the way?), but then they upped their reserved slots to like 8-10 and it's almost always full. I play mostly with my buddy from out of town and it's rare to find the moders server with 2 open slots.

Thay will add a minimum distance for the GL, so if you shoot on the floor 1 meter away, it will bounce.:)

I stopped playing until this next patch is released.

The performance hit is too much for me to play it.

If/when the 1.2 is released, and if they fix performance issues with SF (without having to lower my settings from BF2 original), then I will start playing.

I can't believe I wasted 30$ on the expansion, but what can you do.
