CD Problems!

I got this HUGE problem and I really need help.
I have a original copy of the game, bought and all.
The problem is that the games says that it can't find the CD.
All that comes up are the splash screen, and then a error msg.. :cry:
I really need help to fix this!
It worked fine until I bought a new harddrive and reinstalled the game.

Do you hear a sound like its spinning but then a kind of STOP sound?

No, the DVD is in and keeps on spinning.
It worked perfect before I had to reinstall Windows.

Do any other cds work, like a music cd? If they dont, you might have loosened a cable in the back of the cd drive.

Yes, everything else works but not BF2.

I am thinking maybe a driver....but Iam not sure what kind of driver would prevent bf2 from installing.

No, I can install.. everything works.. until I start the game and it asks me to put in the DVD when it's already in.
and it all worked fine before I had to reinstall Windows..
after that it don't work.

I have problems with me BF2 CD it keeps on spinning but it doesnt read the disc

thx for all the help guys.. in some weird way it started to work again after reinstalling. :P
