Now this is getting lame. I bet the patch is not coming out before the booster pack, too. I want to have this damn sniper rifle . What's the problem with it??? They said it on 1/11/2006 that the patch is coming very soon. Now more than two weeks past. What do they mean by "very soon"? Like in two moths or before battlefield 3 or like never? This sucks badly.

good god EA sucks even more, its already bad they cannot even patch the game yet with an effective patch, but thank god the next patch will stop Bunny Hopping and Dolpin Diving.

The booster pack has been pushed back (oh no, what on earth will we do ...) .. doesnt mean the patch will, it MAY do, but then again it MAY not. Stop moaning about things which are beyond your control and just play the fking game.

I was not interested in the Booster Pack at all but this just makes EA look bad...

I supposed I should post the followup:

We've not given a date for the patch previously, and as far as our information goes at the moment everything is on schedule, rather than there being any major hold-up.

We'll update the patch news sticky as soon as we have anything further.

Well after SF (what a load of crap) no more packs of any kind for me. Dice just needs to get the patch out before people quit play BF2, otherwise there is no point. I personally don't give a rats ass about these so-called booter packs.

If they actually use the extra time to test the product more extensively and iron out some bugs before releasing, the push-back will be well worth it. Otherwise players would complain about how EA released a half-finished product.

I vote for finished product with fewer bugs and with a 1 month delay.

It will remove the ability to shoot while jumping, not bunnyhopping :/ Still people will jump around to make it harder to shoot them. I would work really well if it was like in Counter-Strike - 2,3 jumps and you're stuck to the ground if you try to jump more.
