Spotting enemies as sniper should be a "skill" (ala medic/engie) and earn you points!

I have a better idea. Have it so the commander cannot use an artillary barrage unless a sniper spots it for them. As it is now the artillary is a little overused in my opinion.
than arty wouldn't be used at all, since most of the time snipers just camp in one place.

I agree on this. I mean compare snipers to the rest of the classes in the game.....the sniper class mostly if not ALWAYS gets the worst score out of all the classes at the end of the round. I think this would be good if the enemy spotted was killed within 15 seconds, and then, this would be fair.

What if snipers got more points for being more accurate on consecutive kills? Once you get 5 kills no deaths you add a point per kill until you die? I had a 35 person kill streak as a sniper, instead of only scoring 70 pts for 35 kills I would have recieved 100 pts? What about that Idea, or make it 10 kills? = 85 pts?
Or
Reward a sniper more for flag defends and or consecutive kills before death another way. 10 kills 0 deaths gets you and extra 3 pts? 20 gets and extra 6 pts? kinda like a "killing spree" reward?
