In real life snipers only need one good shot. By the time the enemy knows what has hit them, the sniper has already moved away.
Snipers are also scouts and act as the forward eyes of the army.
I suggest that to be a good sniper in BF2 you have to be constantly moving. Snipe then move. Be one step ahead of them so that they can never find out your position and if they do and you are taking fire get the hell out of there.Comment

Suppressors are fitted to sniper rifles to diminish the noise signature to make it harder to locate the snipers position, not to completely suppress the rifle shot.
A totally silent option would be something like this:
.45 Delisle Carbine, designed for totally silent sentry removal, used in WW2, and still in use today.

I think he was being sacastic there buddy. You kinda' overdid the response when he was obviously joking.
Also, Panzerd18, snipers aren't limited to one shot. There are many instance where snipers must remove certain objects before they can take the shot they need to take. This is usually when somthing along the lines of a .22 comes into play. Surpressed, you can usually eleminate small animals, or lights, or cameras, without giving away your position.
So. No, snipers aren't limited to one shot. Although, it's preferable. You take as many as you need to take to maintain the element of stealth.
