where can i find the cd key, besides the book? somewhere in program files?

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\username\
in there is a file named something like eagamesbf2-2006online_contentbf2-ep1.eam only about 2kb.
Open this in notepad and about half way down is regkey = **************** thats your cdkey.Comment

actually its for my buddys pc im trying to network off of my pc(he had to move and currently has no internet). he cant find his booklet and the games not installed yet. mine is up and running and working good, thanks for asking

Then if you reformat, install BF2 then drop the folder back where it goes. Execute the downloader & it will say "install now" instead of "download now".Comment
