BF2 1942 Conversion, Would you download it?

I have to say i really like BF2, but my favorite will always be BF1942. It would be cool if EA released a Conversion of BF2 to make it 1942. The only reason i don't play 1942 anymore is the graphics are really out dated in my mind. But if they released a conversion like the Vietnam one, i would download it. Think of the Sinking ships, o how i miss being able to fight on the sea, Wish i could in Bf2 with modern day ships. How do you guys feel on this matter?

I'd hit it, but BF1942 graphics are just fine for me, atleast I can run it on highest with no lag.

Per FPS, BF1942 has better graphics than BF2

im actually sick of wwii games...played too much dod and cod..i guess its only fun if u play after watching band of brothers or saving private ryan..

i would defenetly download it, if it was for free of course, sure there are alot of WW2 titles out there, but none has the capabilities of Battlefield with all the vehicles and huge maps.

BF 1942 is awesome. Didn't they do a version for BF:vietnam so it was converted to BF:1942?? I love flying spitfires, shooting at tigers. Shooting people with the beloved No.4 Enfield rifel.Aaaahhh those were the days.

Give me BF:1942 again with super dooper graphics.

It would be realy nice to have the naval aspect of the game back again and flame thrower tanks (i cant remember if the tanks were in bf1942 or forgoten hope mod ehich was it ??)

There's something about WW2 that makes it better warfare. There's less technology, but just enough of it to be complex and strategical. Everything was aimed manually and weapons were oldschool and simple, and there weren't UAVs and laser/tv guided missiles and heat seeking AA missiles..

Like someone said it really compliments band of brothers and SPR and several others. It's so true though, they overdid it and they're still making WW2 titles.

Any of you guys play Day of Defeat? That was a WICKED game for infantry.

<3 Battlefield 42 ftw. I'd definetly look into it, Fun games, not ********, Generally "Fully Sick".

Im wanting some sort of Berlin Conversion for Bf2 that works even though it doesn't fit into context, Berlin was one of favourite maps.

I like the idea of a new Bf1942 but knowing EA they would IMHO stuff it up by thinking about all the money they could make off it.
But if they did make it I would buy it.
