The amazing assault rifle

I had a small question due to what happen in the game this morning. I was playing an assault in kit Karkand and I enemy pop up in front of me real close, he aim and I just fired away out of reaction with aiming and BANG was killed.
When I aim at close combat, I usually am killed, but I did not even aim, let it go on automatic fire. Was this a lucky hit or is this a good tactic for close combat.
I do know the unloced assault rifle is very powerfull, but that was suprising. Thanks for all your feedback in advance.

Maybe he was shooting you in the head in which case you have no chance. I do not understand your question about the F2000 or are you talking about the G3. Are you asking if it is powerul or commenting?

No, I shot hime without aiming at close combat and killed him while he was shooting me while aiming. Either the unlocked assault rifle is that deadly or I got a lucky hit.

Very valid tactic and you did not get lucky. I use to bring up my iron sights even when the guy was 15 feet away. Now i just use the crosshair up to about 20-30 feet you can move alot faster then if you were in the sight mode and your shots are still accurate.

The assault unlock (g3) has I think a 40 damage, so 3 bullets and other dude is toast.

The G3 does absolutely rock in close fire situations. Come around a corner and pump three in the chest and it's over.

For the person who said about the duel. You should win if you have a duel because you will know where the guy is and you will already have the sights drawn, the point is if you have two people who run around a corner 25-35 feet apart and the one pulls his sights and the other just burst a few rounds from ak, m16 etc...the chances are he will win. The guns are not that inaccurate. You can also win if you spray because you have the agility advantage.

Hey the ak-101 can do that too except it has a 30 round clip AND a grenade launcher! I'll be happy to see the G3 improved in 1.2

This dude came out of nowhere behind a corner while I was sprinting. Out of reflexes, I fired my G36C and killed the guy with the first bullet...

This is a good point. I have found that bringing up your sights in this game is just about useless. I would have thought there would be some bonus for using sights. EA/Die really needs to balance this better...

I guess you just were lucky. I have had this situation also. I was not really paying attention and suddenly some guy pops up in my screen with guns blazing and actually I made some idiotic move and shot him with the first bullet. I had totally NO control over what I did cuz I almost jumped out of my seat due to the unexpected surprise. :p
