Well, I shure didn't .

I sold some vid card to some guy, he wanted to see if it worked, so I say, no prob, bring along your PC, I will install it for you .

Install the vid card into his PC, and he wants to test it with BF2 (I am like, yeah, good luck without internet connection)
he starts up BF2 , goes to manage acounts, create new acount, then option single player acount, types in name, push OK button, and bam he could play BF2 .

Realy, I realy realy didn't know that !!

only a couple days after i got bf2 my internet was down for about a week so i had to do the same thing, got pretty boring as those bots are horrible

Yea I knew it the wholleeee time! The only thing that makes me mad, is that you cant use certain maps....and cant go higher than 16 man... (i believe)

Now I was down in Florida for xmas break.. and my brother never gets time to play these games, so I decided to bring my pc down... and he doesnt have cable/dsl.. So i fire up bf2.. was going to play some Golf of Oman!!!! But nope, only a 16 man... Now the thing that makes me really po'd is that the bots can fly helicopters (now they can) but not Jets? Oh well :p but yes, i knew!

I love playing singleplayer on easy, and sitting in the middle with nothing but an engineer shottie, and see how long i can survive against the PLA. It is quite humorous when marijuana or alcohol are involved in the situation.

is there any official way to get all the weapons i have unlocked in MP in single player(without risking getting banned)?
jus doesnt make sense that you only get the stock weapons

Amazing the amount of people who have never read the manual even once !

It may not be a 'real' manual but at least it does explain what single player is.

manual spaniel, its totally unhelpful, doesnt explain much in any real detail.
theyd be better off updating it online rather than wasting paper.

Did not know about this until the servers all went down a couple weeks ago. Sitting on Vent - people were still playing, and told me how. Without creating that local account you can't even get into game.

Good tidbit for when all the servers crap out and die when the next patch gets released the same day as the map pack. Not saying I know they will come out the same day or anything - just being realistic on what to expect - lol.

You can't use weapons unlocked online in SP but you can mod the game to enable all unlocks (does not affect online play):

mini-mod with just the unlocked weapons(no other changes)

1. download (63KB)
2. unzip the excentriker folder to your ..\Battlefield 2\mods\ folder
3. run the INSTALL.BAT inside ..\Battlefield 2\mods\excentriker\
4. start the game by RUN_bf2_excentriker.bat

This doesn't give the SF unlocks; you'll need to edit the kits manually to get those.
