Noob Question

Hi all,
totally new to the game and would like some info on where to get good entry level info on what to do in the game and how to do it.
does anyone know a site(s) that they can recommend

Well the demo is a fine place to start, i suggest a map that has all: open fields, sniper spots, water, heli's, planes, and so on: GULF OF OMAN

i agree, look into the demo..play around with your keys and weapons to get used to it all.

After playing the demo (if you can find a good server) go around, read posts, there is some stuff on the front page of totalbf2 that you can look at, just basic info about the guns and maps and such. Its fairly easy to get into.

After GULF i suggest a more closer map: like mashtuur. don't go to karkand after GULF cause thats a verry deadly map for newcomers

explore maps in an sever you made yourself (start BF2 > multiplayer > create local)

thats also a good way to practise plane flying and helo flying
