Further on in that thread the same guy mentions the patch, and it implies different release dates for the patch and Euro Force.

We've not given a date for the patch previously, and as far as our information goes at the moment everything is on schedule, rather than there being any major hold-up.

Looks to be a small delay, EA Germany have updated their Euro Force page; release date has changed from the 8th to the 16th

I say it's because of the newly exposed bug.

Lets hope their on top of this exploit. Its all over the web and getting worse. This game will go to hell waiting for another patch to fix this issue.

I've just been on the EA UK forum when i came across this post.

Not a guarantee that it's delayed but the information is usually accurate on that forum. Oh well

Too funny, 8 hours after you posted this someone posted the same info as news at Wolfgaming.net, now all the major gaming sites are announcing it as news, found by wolfgaming. Couple more days and totalbf2 will post it as news :-)
