there are two kinds of tkers, one kind is those who can manage to own in the air after they tk. this kind of tkers still got skills. the other kind is those who constantly die, and constantly tk. this kind of tkers are the real idiots.

btw darkillusion, i saw u playing on moders this afternoon. i was trying to connect, but the server was full.

I cant say that those "facts & figures" are entirely true (aka 90%). Most snipers I know or have seen go nowhere near the jets :hmm: Id say 10% do this kinda thing tops. This is based on my experience in my server (Raging Rebels Ranked 1.12) and most Gamearena and Internode servers anyway

Funny thing Xopht, you know surely by now I don't have a grudge against [BSF] as a whole only 2 members, and you know why, but why do you guys start threads like this when your own members do this? Nexar openly admits to tking for a jet "anytime" he doesn't get it with his so called noob ejector. Then he starts a thread about others that are stat padders. Surely you can see the irony to all of this?

I don't think this is the message we should be spreading to the rest of the community and quite frankly I'm disapointed that people like DrunkenPirate not only condone this but do it themselves. This is not the solution to this kind of behaviour.

I invented the n00b ejector. Everyone else is an imitator :) As for even mods condoning this kind of crap, I must say bravo. Better them than me that's for sure. Like most everyone has said, 9/10 snipers running around at the airstrip with an M95 in hand are likely to cause trouble. I myself personally view plane camping snipers with M95's in hand as an act of war. There aren't many reasons for a sniper to be waiting on a jet with an M95 other than to n00b eject someone from their plane. The best way to deal with them is to grab a jeep and run them over with the n00b road kill trick (bail out at the very last second before you run them over so you don't get credited with the TK in the kill list). It works like a ****ing charm.

It's not the fact that pilots are complaining the most, it's the fact that aircraft and the very small number of aircraft attract all the TK'ers, thieves and just in general n00bs. You don't usually see people fighting over tanks and such because those people are at the airstrips instead.

There's also a few good "privately" rented ranked servers, but most seem to have problems with getting enough players recently.
Also, I of course play on the beloved aerial stunts server. I've had some of the most fun of all BF2 there
I've found that most clan servers do in fact attract a large stable of idiots. I've also discovered that posting your rules in the loading screen is just gonna make players want to break them with glee. Especially really retarded ones like baseraping, noobtubing, etc. Stupid things like that are hard to keep an eye out for and most admins really don't give a damn anyway until they see it for themselves. I'd also be daring enough to say that the vast majority of clan servers that I've ever played in throughout my online gaming career have been filled to the brim with and run by retardiots. Not all of them but the vast majority indeed.

Thank you. I TK on good servers when nessesary and I TK on n00b servers profusely. In a morbid kind of way I am doing the BF2 community a favor by keeping these crapshiz servers empty. Not to say that I play like a total jerk 100% of the time but I am certainly capable of doing it :)

Your ignorant assumptions that pilots are ignorant because of lack of aircraft and that they are somehow inferior to those that choose to fight on the ground are just pure rubbish. Perhaps your reason for hating pilots so much is born from the fact that you get bombed out of your armoured brothels -- while looking like a total jackass to the pilot -- so damned often? I'm not sure that you know the full ramifications of the BF2 "aircraft situation" as it stands now. Not only are aircraft the BFG9000/AWP's of BF2 (meaning they are highly desirable by all players and also ****ing fun as hell to fly in) but the very limited number of these vehicles causes a huge surge in demand. Ground pounders have many many CP's to spawn at with vehicles whereas pilots only have one. Surely you know about supply and demand?

I've been tk'ed for everything right down to my kit but nowhere are lamers more evident than at the airstrips. This is just a fact. These forums are filled with many many anecdotes of what really happens in BF2's airstrips and to label them as "overpowered pilots" complaining is just ignorant. Their game is being ruined by idiots just as yours is by a swooping MiG. Like someone else said, this happens on karkand and other urban maps too where vehicle limits are strict. Stop trying to spin around your pathetic argument to make it seem like ground pounders are somehow superior to pilots. EA intended aircraft to be in the game and you will have to adapt. Start spawning at the airstrips from now on so you can see how uninformed your opinion is.

At the end of the day any experienced Pilot of choppers and jets knows the sh1t that goes on. Tking for vehicles is a battle of inteligence and stratergy. Hell sometimes i dont even bother punishing if someone tks me for a vehicle and gets it because im ashamed that ive been outwitted ...

Anyway the best solution to all this crap is if an account reaches X amount of tk's to be decided by EA/Dice etc then he or she Looses the unlock weapon for thier most played class for a given time ..say 1 month punishment. Then they might think twice about pulling out the noob ejector if they know that there going to loose it.

What are you talking about? So do you expect us to turn the cheek or something and let someone snipe us out of our vehicles 10 times in a row? That **** don't work in BF2 honey. Unless you are an admin, 9/10 you have to take the e-law into your own hands and do what you feel is right, not what some dogmatic do-gooder quack named HKS said on an internet forum. Sure it breaks the EULA, but honestly, how many players have you seen breaking it? The number that I've seen is in the hundreds upon hundreds. Do you think they even bothered to read it? I know I didn't! HA! As if I care about my stats being reset. Most of the people that really care about the stats are playing "fair" anyway I would assume.

I definitly agree with this behaviour. M95+Sniper+Camping for a jet/chopper=Act of War or at the very very least highly suspicious.

You totally ****ing hit the nail on the head with that comment loki. To all the ground pounders out there, there is actually skill (although very dubious indeed) in getting inside of a jet/chopper. Little things like spawning as sniper to spawn closer to aircraft or n00b ejecting for the aircraft or using somewhat(HA!) more respectable tactics like parking vehicles in front of aircraft are all part of a complex meta-game that a large portion of the BF2 community takes part in. A pilots worst dream is the 15 seconds after the lock-on when 10-20 people are waiting for your plane. I've seen some pretty damned funny things happen in these kinds of situations and I imagine alot of "hardcore" pilots get a bit of a chuckle out of it just because of the sheer stupidity.

Although I agree that TK'ing and all this nonsense is very lame; the nature of BF2 is such that it is going to continue being lame and so long as it stays that way I and many others will have to be adept at dealing with these situations as they arise (read: beating the lamers at their own game)

Did I say inferior..well??..no I did not. If you opened your eyes in this forums most of the people complaining about tk's ARE pilots. I know the advantages in game of a great pilot, I’ve never debated that, nor will I. As to your comment about maybe Ive been bombed out of my armoured brothels(nice touch) maybe you need to actually know how I play to comment on this. Im a buggy whore, plain and simple, where’s the armour in that? If I can out maneuver a jet in a buggy I will.. and have, granted though, this is not always possible. I've had my ass bombed plenty of times by good pilots but guess what? this isn’t the topic of this thread, its about people who tk pilots and their reactions.

Is this not what is I said?, the limited number of aircraft means the tking situation is more rampid. Hell I fly as well you know. I know the fun of it all but I don’t resort to tk'ing one of the 12 people hanging around the airfield waiting for an aircraft to ensure I get the aircraft. If I get it, I get it and I will do my best in it, if not I move on to do the best for my team. This means I do not hang around the airfield waiting for an aircraft. Nor do I tk a team mate to get it or tk a sniper teammate in case they snipe me whilst waiting, which in the end does nothing for "the" team bar bleed tickets. TKing is for Lamers that dont know how to have the patience to wait their turn. Plain and simple.

Yep, I sure do. Thats my point exactly. Pilots are usually just pilots. They dont want to usually contribute in any other way. They just hang at the airfield/carrier doing exactly this kind of thing, tking for an aircraft or doing nothing waiting until one returns in the hope that they get it before the 10 other people there. If I don’t get to a jet first I don’t tk the person that did. I move on and utilize another vehicle or spawn point being ignored or not used. I try to contribute to my team winning, not hinder it by doing nothing, limiting myself or killing my own team

Start spawning at the airstrips from now on so you can see how uninformed your opinion is.
OMG, you just don’t get it, I have no probs with aircraft or pilots, only with Lamers that need to tk to ensure they are in the air. You need to wake up and realize there are others that want to play the game to, want to fly even, and maybe just maybe they are even better than you. Then again maybe they are not, but they are entitled to fly, just like you. I never ever said that grounder pounders were superior, I infact agreed that good pilots make a difference and are needed. Just not the tking lamer kind who hinder their own team, I spawn at airfields often so I do see it. YOU are the one just going off on a tangent here to validate your argument !

Im a buggy whore, plain and simple, where’s the amour in that?

Nor do I tk a team mate to get it, which in the end does nothing for "the" team bar bleed tickets.

I agree, the thing is though that half of what happens is brought upon yourself by stupid actions like your noob ejector. Cant you see that?

First of all I have to say that I actually like waiting at the airstrip. Why you ask? Most of the time I am rolling a joint in preparation for a long uninterruptable flight or eating or any number of things. If you notice, most of the people sitting at the airstrip appear to be afk too! If anything, it's an oppurtunity for people like us. You said that if you don't get in a jet first you don't TK for it however there are many people that will do this. The way I see it, BF2 airstrips have evolved into their own little world and game and require otherwise legit players to conform to its rules. So some retardiot spec ops straps C4 to your jet, what do you do?. Well you know what good ole' Jack Burton ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090728/ ) does in a situation like this: hop out and kill the son of a bitch!

I don't agree with your opinion that I could be doing a better job for the team by spawning at another CP instead of waiting on a jet. Most of the time I dominate the skies so the amount of time I spend waiting on a jet pales in comparision to the amount I actually spend in it.

I totally advocate "an eye for an eye" when it comes to TK'ers at airstrips. If you see someone TK'ing someone else at the airstrip for vehicles or just to be a floptard, it should be your duty as a good BF2 player to TK the bastard over and over until he quits. I've been on many servers where players that have amassed pathetic scores of -100+ have had to leave the server after enough players on the team started TK'ing em so they would leave. Conversely, This has also happened to me on unranked servers where admins are seemingly nonexistent and I was able to amass incredibly bad scores. I can tell you from experience that the worst thing a "career" (I am not one of those) TK'er can ever encounter is a of mob angry teammates ready to obliterate you.

From this statement alone I assumed you were just another lamer complaining about aircraft dominance in the game and thus saw complaints coming from pilots as worthless. I stand corrected however my words still stand as there are plenty of morons with that mindset.
