    messed up weapon description?

I was looking through the EA bf2 website and i noticed that u could read about the in game weapons (b4 u couldnt) and i noticed that the chinese anti-tank submachine gun had the following description

"The Type 85 is a 12.7mm, crew-operated heavy machine gun. Designed primarily for use against low flying helicopters and aircraft, the Type 85 is also effective at suppressing large numbers of infantry or light armored vehicles. It is a standard heavy machine gun among the PLA’s infantry battalions. It can fire armor-piercing or incendiary rounds."

And the chinese anti-tank submachine gun sure isnt "crew-operated" or "armor piercing"...

this is the same description for the chinese spec ops gun

I think that's Type 95 for the LMG and Kord for the HMG.

There are actually two "Type 85" weapons in the game. Besides the SMG, the HMGs on the Chinese vehicles are also Type85 (not the actual FAAV but the equivalent "JEP_paratrooper"). Chinese specops gun QBZ-97 is also referred to as "chrif_type95" in the game files so they probably got confused with that too. (According to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People's_Liberation_Army_Ground_Force it should probably be called "CAR-95".) Still sloppy work though.

and it does have armor piercing rounds

Armor piercing ammunition is used to penetrate hardened armored targets such as body armor, vehicle armor, concrete, tanks and other defenses, depending on the caliber of the fire arms.

If you read the whole page you realize that there are many "Type 85" and "Type 95" weapons including SMGs, rifles, LMGs, tanks, etc. Type 85 is not a wrong designation for the SMG; just the description on the web site is wrong.
