How to set jump to mousewheeldown?

I've been wanting to set my jump to mouse wheel down.. but in control option.. it doesnt seem to detect my mouse wheel move.. is there a way to set this manually?

You could try manually editing the controls.con file under your profile subdirectory.

Well, since are trying to REMOVE it from the game in the v1.2 patch, I'd say it's at least 'officially frowned upon'

i've always had mousewheeldown as my jump when i used to play CS... now im just so used to it..

you can't bind commands to mousewheel in bf2.

are you sure?... im sure there is a way to do this because mousewheel is binded to the weapon selection by default... i think u might be able to change that manually... could someone enlighten me on this?

Bind it to something useful. Ifor instansce, has one set on main weapon, one on pistol and one on knife. Then again i do have to buttons by my thumb but that is not the point. You can bind them by going to controls which is an ingame option. Find what you want to set it to. Click on what it currently is (mouse button 1 for example). Then it will blink and click the button you want it to be on. Mouse button three (scroll).
