There is something wrong with farting around in an untouchable jet and racking up ridiculous 9:1 KD ratios. I don't think you should live by the honour system but it's cool once in awhile to give your opponent a fair advantage, feels better when you win too.

I was one of the 8 voters myself. I've killed people that were swimming, sure, but there's something admirable about letting the other get out of the water and draw their weapon. Chances are the other person will type 'gg' or something and possibly even switch teams to squad up with you- This is how friends are made man!
thats a ridiculous KD ratio? And letting swimmers live? What is this, a Dora game? Should we hold their hands too?

This game has a competitive side to it and if you are better than the people you are fighting, they will most likely know it and start teaming up on you.

There is a big difference between having skill and racking up kills by using a vehicle that is almost untoucable for anyone on the ground (and no the solution isn't for everyone to fly airplanes). Constantly bombing people on the ground who can't harm you is cheap, where is the skill in that?

The way I see It, skill verses skill is what makes this game so addictive. Another point, that runs a close second, is that there are a lot of us so close in our skills that its more a matter of kit choice and who fires the first shot.

Because of the random way the servers are filled with people you might play on the same server 3 days in a row and average around 20 points a game on day one, have 4 gold medals and average 55+ on day two, then on day three get your rear handed to you on a silver platter each and every game. I know I have days where its great fun all day long and other days where it seems more like work. If someone new to the game reads this all I can say is hang in there skill will come with time. In the mean time be prepared to die, a lot. See you in game. . . . . .Red (rReDd)

            I'm ALMOST speechless.

What the **** are you thinking?

"OMG HE KILLED ME CAUSE HE IS BETTER THAN ME!!!!

            NO **** SHERLOCK!!!!

What are you thinking? This is the most idiotic question ever.

"OMG THAT PERSON IS SMARTER THAN ME, THEY SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO GET AN A WHILE I HAVE A B!!!"

Seriously, this is the dumbest question I have EVER seen.

Well, maybe if the dumbasses on the ground thought to get a Spec Ops or an AT or an Engineer over there and use some teamwork, the tank could be destroyed.

Why the hell should a sniper be able to destroy a tank. Why not just give him a rocket launcher, machine gun, and C4 packs along with his silenced pistol, sniper rifle, and camo suite.

                1) Admirable...You do that.
                2) If you need to make friends? Get off the computer.

Delete this thread...it's just proving how stupid people can be...and we don't need more of that around here.

Eheh. By ridiculous KD ratio I meant more less long term in someone's stats: If they have 9000 kills and 1000 deaths then something stupid is going on and it's obviously vehicle related. Either that or they have absolutely no life. Hate to be mean but quite a few of you forums people blow my mind.

Oh, and not saying you should breathe by those kinds of rules. It's a war game, sure, but it's harder to suck it up and let your enemy have some advantage. Try it some time is all I'm saying.

Uh. Why am I getting jumped on for this? How is it stupid? It's a game dude, maybe I will go ahead and do that. I'm perfectly fine with the friends IRL I've got but if you're playing an online team-based game and don't appreciate the rare comraderie you do come across then I should rip your eye out and put it in your knee and make your knee read a book. Way to flame for no reason you ****ing boner.

I guess since I've been away the last few days the amount of complaining and accusations of cheapness thrown around here have made people not surprised to see a thread like this (which is rather disturbing)

I think that you should start the game as a private with ALL UNLOCKS. Then at each promotion you have to choose a gun to lock. That way better players are more balanced with noobs because they have less choice of weapon. They should maybe get less health as well...

This is a poor attempt to make fun of the Killing Swimmers thread. That situation has nothing to do with skill. They're in the water + you have a rifle = they die.
Yes, because we all know a skilled player puts themselves in situations where they are defenseless. Or I suppose that IS the skilled thing to do when you're playing with people who use the "don't kill people unless you got the advantage by shooting first" code of honor. After all, if I make myself defenseless, no one will shoot at me, and I can cap all the flags I want.

There's more to skill than reflexes and aim. There's something called strategy.

Yeah I know, point taken pug. Even though I side with the un-cheap side I got and laughed at the thread. The one that inspired this one was pretty stupid.
