like a benchmarking tool... except it's specifically designed for BF2 and when you run it, it does some benchmarking tests and the result will give you the best settings to use for video options.

like, it will say something like "Here are your optimized settings for running BF2 smoothly:"

textures = medium
geomety = high
dynamic shadows = medium
etc.
etc.
etc.

any program you guys know that does this?

Not aware of any. But there was this benchmarking tool that would run a demo with specific settings and then you could compare the fps readings for different settings.
