I want to Record Moments in BF2.

Ok,

I've tried a few different Screen recorders including FRAPS, But when I press the hot key to record my game gets extremly laggy. I read on another Thread where someone made a guid for the BF2Recorder. But You can call me dumb but I didnt get any of it. Can someone please explain how I can record moments in BF2 with Sound, in a simple way?..

The best and eaisiest way to record is using fraps, just put your graphics down slightly so your FPS doesn't drop below 20-25, and it should run ok.

Play on battlerecorder enabled servers.

That way, you can download the match and play it back with various speeds and camera angles and see everything going on in the battle.

It's a tiny app that can display FPS in-game or take screenshots or record movies of the action (huge CPU drain though).

if the system you're playing on isn't cream then FRAPS will lag the frap out of your game
Battlerecorder is an option, but you dont get first person view afaik.

Ergo: Not much alternative to FRAPS and Battlerecorder enabled servers.

Fraps makes my game lag, and then when I try to play the video, its laggy just like my game was.

How do I use BattleRecord???.. does it just auto make the movie int hose servers, or do I have do do something?
