I've just noticed that in the 1.2 patch video screening, there is a helicoptor that gets downed by AA missles.
Now this is all fine and dandy except for two points;
1. In the real game the helipilot is shooting at you too, and you will ALWAYS die first. (this is a minor point BUT a valid one)
2. This video forgets to address the problem of the missles hitting a sideways moving target, which to my knowledge are the majority of shots I must make. AA works fine for something flying straight at you (except for jets) but try hitting something doing some ZX axial to you and "No Sir" you couldnt hit the broad side of a barn.
Somehow I doubt the AA is actually any better, currently I will miss a 20m displaced BH when firing both missles (or more from mob-AA) and the footage doesnt show any improvement over that.
It remains to be seen whether they should just make AA 95% accurate, because currently its a piece of ****.
