    A Desperate Dash

So, one day, me and my friend were playing on Karkand with a horrible team. Most of the team was trying (in vain) to capture the hotel spawn point. Being the only functional squad in the team, we hatched a plan to go around the back on foot to capture the suburbs (we tried the factory earlier). So, the five of us moved. On the way there, we killed several snipers (I love the G36C, outsniped the snipers ) and almost reached the suburbs flag. Unfortunately, I think the commander figured out that we were the only squad with any brains and sent at least two squads to surround us. One of them had a strong position behind a low wall ahead of us while the other flanked us. The squad leader and our medic were gunned down relatively quickly, so I went prone and started chucking grenades at the guys ahead while hoping I wasn't next on the list of targets for the flankers. Much to my surprise, I took out most of that squad with my grenades, and actually took out a flanker before I was killed. Even though we still lost the round, that was a lot of fun. It also shows what a good commander and squads that followed orders could do. The enemy jumped on us with scary precision, and there was no way that we, without UAV or any sort of support from our commander, could have a chance.
