    Yeah I abandoned the engineer after my first spawn. I got punished for 3 team kills. I put ONE freakin mine down on the LEFT side of the street in karkand and the guy driving went RIGHT over it!!! It shows a red damn skull and crossbones and he jumped street sides to hit it. That made me so mad.

        I've sadly shyed away from engineer kit too. I really enjoyed playing it. The problem came from all the nit wits that don't where the page up key is and have some sort of magnetic attraction to the page down key. If i ever play engineer now i don't lay down expectant mines i just throw them on the back of stuff similar to special forces.
