weird crash problem

Hello. Whenever I try to load a game of SF, it plays for about 30 sec than crasged to desktop. However, I can play vanila for hours with any problems. Any ideas?

Fixed it. Went into SF, changed allseting to med. Played for a bit, than wen back into the settings and cranked em up to high.

My crash problem is even stranger.................


everything works fine in game all settings high, once I exit game and go to the BFHQ screen my system sometimes crashes???

Only sometimes though, the screen has gren and gray lines running down it and it makes the sound DURRRR?????

when was the last time you updated your sound card drivers? I was having issues with the EAX functionality, once I turned it off everything has been working great.....(I used to get that issue on counterstrike sometimes, updated the drivers and it worked out)

How do I update sound card drivers and how do I find our what drivers I have?

I read about sound card drivers before here, and it looked quite confusing, I felt the same way before about GF card drivers untill I was told how.

Any help.......

If you have a Creative soundcard, you can go to www.creative.com and choose Software Autoupdate.

To find out your driver version, go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager, browse your way to the appropriate adapter, right click and choose Properties, then Driver.
