CTD yet again

I have been playing bf2 and sf fine for weeks on my new pc. However, today I got 2 CTDs for no reason while i was playing. My drivers are all up to date and I don't think there is anything wrong with my hardware.
I don't know why this game has to be so quirky. I have not changed anything on my pc either. I have built 3 different pc and all of them have experienced CTD. Now i dont know if i should reformat again or reinstall bf2. Any1 here have bf2 running with no CTDs?

Eventhough i did not have CTD's for a few weeks, I knew that someday i will have one and i did today. Hate having this feeling of unease while playing bf2, knowing that it can CTD any moment.

It would be cool to know what is causing these damn CTD but i have no idea.
