Rate of Promotions

I've been play exactly one month now and I am at the E-6 rank. My next rank I am going to shoot for Monday, while wife is at work.
How long has it taken you to move up whether you are a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer.

The reason I ask this, I believe the rank struture should be fixed. I like to choice either between enlisted and officer rank structure.

And this might be a new one, what about a platoon SGT that is also based on rank. Instead of commander talking to SQ leader they would go through the platoon SGT or Platoon leader.

Also, squad leaders can spawn on the platoon SGT or platoon leader.

The platoon SGT would be the highest enlisted personal and the patoon leader would be the highest officer personel.

This is just a rough thought and wondered what all you BF2 gamers thought of it.

I thought the Second Lieutenant was platoon commander in reality.
