Cloaking UAV trailer? Cheating or a bug?

I was playing MEC spec op in Karkand map on one of the EA US servers, this is very funny, I placed two C4 on the HUMVEE and drive to the US base and then suddenly I found something is not right, the UAV trailer is not there any more! What left was an open ground. I moved around a little and guessed where the UAV trailer should be and desinated the C4, at that point the UAV trailer comes back to life and no demage was done to it at all, but my HUMVEE nect to it was totally wasted, then I have to put two extra C4 to get ride of it.

This not just happend once, on my second run I had the same thing, except when I first blow it up, it shows the US commander got C4'd(He was not visible to me when I let go C4s), and the trailer comes back and it took me two more C4s to get the destory points.

Cheating or a bug?

That has never happen to me.but I place 2 c-4s on the uav trailer and it said the usually message of objective destroyed and pts awarded. One ths one time I did the same thing the trailer lookd normal, enough I recieved the pts for it. I did again just to make sure and I recieved nothing.


Another time after blowing the uav up, I went back to hit the eng for repairing it and it was already repaired. There was not enough time to repair it. So I got another quick point.

It's a bug. I've seen it happen to the Sat Scan too. One time it happened to my buddy, and I had to stand by the Sat Scan and direct him on the C4 placement because he couldn't see anything.

I've also seen the Sat Scan lose it's bottom half so only the spinning radar is showing.

No clue what causes it.

It happens during mapping using the editor as well, so I don't see why it can't happen during a game...

this has happened to me too, also in karkand, the 64 player version, and trailer was the other teams at back base

How odd. Only thing I can think of is a video glitch - plenty of those in this game.

I've seen this with Arti and the TOW on Karkand but never the Trailer. If you jump around them it ususally comes back into sight. Since I know where the TOW should be I step up to it and press E to grab a hold of it. I've only ever seen this in the beginning of the round.
