Call of Duty 2 improves BF2 skills?

Hey guys,

Over the past few months I took a break at BF2 to play the newly released game: Call of Duty 2. When you move around in CoD2, your crosshairs dissapear, so you have to learn to hit people without crosshairs. You could probably make your crosshair in BF2 dissappear but that would just make it difficult because everyone else still has a crosshair. After playing CoD2, your judgement of where the center of the screen is GREATLY increased. Yesterday I was playing Strike at Karkand with an SVD. I was just walking through a small alley when a noob tuber jumped out in front of me. BOOM no-scope headshot.... I got at least 5 throught the round. They tried to kick me later because they thought I had an aimbot!

...Play any game without crosshairs and you'll probably get better...

When us Sir. guys were playin CSS last night I picked up some dead guys autosniper and barely ever used it scoped :P

Every few months I load up the latest UNREAL mutiplayer demo join a deathmatch and run around like an IDIOT blasting everything that moves. I fing it great for target acquisition, the really fast pace can be a rush. I started online mutiplayer with the original UNREAL game and I like to revert every once in a while.

OR you could just type in the little code in the BF2 console menu in-game that gets rid of your whole HUD, including crosshair.

yes, but its hard because everyone else has a crosshair and you don't! BTW, what is that command?

That is exactly the point isn't it, being able to shoot without a crosshair with sniper in BF2 while everyone else DOES have their crosshairs.

For learning it, it might be difficult but dont forget it's your GOAL to own, the guys with crosshair, without crosshair....if you know what i'm saying:p

i dont think that unscoped headshots with sniper rifle are very common. even if you aim it perfectly(some guys stick a post-it-note crosshair on their monitor), the bullet spread of a sniper rifle is HUGE. that means very low accuracy.

try it out some time- walk up to a wall and shoot at it from various distances. you should get very scattered results

Yeah, if you play any game for a while without crosshairs, you'll get better.

Or in the settings options, change your crosshair to black. It sometimes doesn't appear ingame.

Ya, i got for the the 360 and i can snipe quite well in call of duty because of basic knowledge i learned in bf2

Hold shift, point then click? theres no challenge to sniping in cod 2 :p
