I suck

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and new to BF2. I didn't play BF1942 either.

I suck so bad at this game I considered changing my name from GinzaDog to "IGetOwned", but I already made some rank and don't want to start over.

Man I do love this game though and I am getting better.

One thing I am proud of though is I don't and won't cheat or "stat pad", when you look at my stats they may look pathetic, but they will at least be stats, ranks and awards that I earned playing the game as it was intended by the developers.

Anyway just thought I would say hello.

I remember being in that same place, "do I create a new account?".

I would say YES. Like you I used to suck (some people would say I still do). I also have a few friends that play with using my account (who mess up my stats). So I was always thinking of doing one that would reflect my current skill. But I was at 2,000 points and was like NO WAY MAN, that took me a month (or something like that). By 10,000 that was no way on earth that I was gonna do it.
Now I wish I did. Getting alot of points per round ain't that hard and you don't even have to 'whore'. You stats will look better, SPM and D/K ratio etc. But then again if you get too caught up with stats, your be running around with a smoke nag in your hand, or quickly switching to it before you die.. Which is taking things abit too far.

The thing about battlefield 2 is staying cool. So don't try to unload your entire magazine on an enemy. So stay cool, aim, shoot and kill the bastard. Just try it.

As I have said before in other topics, if you play the game for your stats, then you are missing out. Just play the game and have fun. Trust me on this one, not caring about really anything that have to do with your stats make the game not only more enjoyable, but you can have some really funny things happen.
